Map of Europe Art Print

This  antique map titled "Volgens de nieuwste Verdeeling" (Dutch for "According to the latest distribution") depicts Europe in a unique and allegorical way.  The European continent is personified as a queen, with  Spain forming her head, Portugal her crown, and Italy her left arm. The countries are outlined in different colours, and the seas are labelled "Atlantische Zee" (Atlantic Ocean) and "Zee" (Sea).

These prints are printed on a fine quality ivory paper.
