Fondly referred to as panchranga which means “Five Colors”, this cushion is decorated with chevrons of five different colors that come together seamlessly. The colors represent “Punjab- The Land Of Rivers” that is is known for and is also a piece that epitomizes the craft of Phulkari. The Phulkari work also consists of Kanchan, a traditional motif of triple V shaped lines in four directions forming a four side-faced design with four corners forming one motif.
